But pretty much everything else you can get on 12th Avenue. Got a superhero on your shopping list? Try Pop! Comics for all your comic book needs, from X-Men to Iron Man and every caped-or-costumed character you can dream of.

There is East Hill Hardware for the man or woman craving a new wrench set. There is scrumptious J’s Bakery for all your holiday sweets, and, next door, City Grocery, for all your fine wines, yummy meats and other holiday table staples.

“You can get hardware, medicine, groceries, gifts, even insurance on 12th Avenue,” said Judy Fitzpatrick, owner of Just Judy’s Flowers on 12th Avenue. “It’s a great place to shop.”

Judy’s own business also boasts local gifts. A coffee table book by acclaimed Pensacola watercolor artist Nina Fritz is available, as are numerous hand-painted Christmas ornaments.

So this year, at least make a trip down 12th Avenue for your holiday shopping.
